Quick FAQ for Guests:

Is the show live? No, it is recorded.

How do we connect? Usually via Google Meet. Once we confirm a date/time to record, you will receive a calendar invite with the meeting link. However, we can also use Zoom, and other options, too, if that’s what the guest needs. We start at the easiest and then we work to accommodate the needs of the guest.

Is it audio and video? No, only audio at present.

How long should I plan on an interview taking? From connection to goodbye, for open-and-shut episodes, twenty to thirty minutes. For feature episodes, sixty to seventy.

Do you edit? Yes, for clarity and length. And to make the guest shine as bright as possible.

How should I prepare on the technical side? Have a good internet connection, a quasi-quiet place to be interviewed at, the best microphone you have, and some kind of headphones or earbuds. That’s all you need. Don’t worry – most laptop or phone set ups are sufficient.

Should I send you my book(s)? By all means, send along any ARCs (Kindle format preferred, paper accepted) that you like. Arrange via email. Thanks!
